Anne Johnson, Director of Lottery & Automated Kiosks, Walmart Inc.
 

Anne Johnson currently serves as the Director of Lottery and Automated Kiosks for Walmart, Inc., based in Bentonville, AR. In her 36-year career at Walmart, she has worked in multiple areas of the company, including store operations, training and development, marketing, the Walmart Foundation, financial services and now, retail services.

 

If you’ve ever worked with Johnson, you know that she engages with a high degree of passion and energy that is mixed with just a little bit of off-the-wall humor and a “no guts, no glory” approach – proving you can work hard and still have fun!

 

She and her husband Brian have been married 25 years and live in Bella Vista, AR, with their two cats, Tyrone and Kosmos. For fun, they ride their Harleys, sing karaoke, and entertain family and friends as often as they can.

David B. Gale

Executive Director, NASPL

 

David Gale has been the Executive Director of NASPL since March 1995. His lottery industry experience began with serving as Director of Marketing for the Ohio Lottery, where he was instrumental in the development of the first lottery TV game show, Cash Explosion.

 

In the private sector, Gale served as Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of the British American Banknote (BABN) Pennsylvania printing facility, where he oversaw the complete instant ticket printing process for the company’s North American lottery clients. While at BABN, Gale participated in the 1987 startup of the Kansas Lottery.

 

Since assuming the title of NASPL Executive Director, Gale has successfully added a long list of additional accomplishments, including his 2012 induction into the PGRI Lottery Industry Hall of Fame. In this role, he has acted as a strong advocate for the industry, offering congressional testimony, publishing, conference and trade show coordination, industry-leading research, standards and best practices, and day-to-day membership activities.
