Kristin Kitzmiller is a licensed independent social worker who brings more than 18 years of experience in multiple fields. She is passionate about educating and helping people achieve personal growth and has been an advocate for mental health since she was young. In addition to creating and giving presentations for NAMI, Kitzmiller provides social work supervision to those seeking independent licensure. She has been an Adjunct Professor with local colleges and universities and also has a background as a field social worker, in addition to 10 years’ experience as a Support Service Director of Hospice. She currently assists individuals with chronic/acute physical and mental illnesses as a case manager. She also works as a therapist with AbleTo, assisting individuals in understanding and developing coping strategies for their current mental health challenges.
